Welcome

NOTICE: Due to the current COVID-19 crisis (updated 7/10/2020)

A message from our elders

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We had intended to resume our Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes beginning July 12. However, the Elders have decided to postpone this until August 2 due to the recent uptick in cases and the effect it has had on our members. Sunday morning and evening services will continue, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

We understand that the danger from Covid 19 is not completely behind us, so it will be necessary to continue to follow the utmost precautions. Specifically, we will follow the recommended guidelines provided by Governor Abbott on April 27, 2020 (Exec. Order No. GA 18). We encourage everyone attending to wear a mask, since the mask not only protects the wearer but, more especially, protects others against coughs, sneezes etc. Masks, along with safe distancing, minimizing contact, hand-washing, and building sanitation should keep everyone safe from contamination.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
1. If you feel the slightest bit nervous about meeting with the congregation due to health concerns that may predispose you to Covid 19, the Elders strongly recommend that you not attend at this time. No one will think less of you for your caution.

2. Anyone and everyone with, or who may be symptomatic of Covid 19 should not attend and should self quarantine at home. If you are waiting on test results for Covid 19, you should self quarantine at home until you receive a negative result.

3. As much as we miss each other, we must avoid physical contact and even prolonging our face-to-face visiting before and after our worship services. There will be ample time for our customary greetings and visitations after this pandemic is behind us.

4. To those who are unable to assemble, we encourage you to arrange for family or other small group worship during this period of time. There are several online worship services and Bible studies you could avail yourself of. Regardless of where we and our families worship, we know that God will be pleased with our determined efforts to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

5. If necessary, you may still mail your contributions to the building. The address is Stallings Drive Church of Christ, PO Box 630035, Nacogdoches, Texas 75963.
-The Elders

If you are searching for a group of people who are striving to serve God and who are devoted to learning more about His will for us, you are in the right place.  If we can study with you or help you grow closer to God, please let us know.  Our aim, as pilgrims on this Earth, is to live in such a manner, through the grace of God, so as to one day live with our Father in Heaven.  We invite you to join us for a period of bible study and worship every Lord’s Day morning.
