NOTICE: Due to the current COVID-19 crisis (updated 3/28/20)

Now that Nacogdoches has its first confirmed case of Coronavirus , the anxiety-factor has increased along with the real and perceived risk of contracting the virus. In view of that, the elders are suspending, along with all other services, our Lord’s Day morning worship as an assembly of the whole congregation, until further notice. We encourage you to arrange for family or other small group worship during this period of time. A small group of members will be meeting at the building on March 29th at 10:15 for worship. Some of you who are not in a risk category for the virus may want to attend. The same level of precautions taken last Sunday will again be implemented (see below). Regardless of where we and our families worship, we know that God will be pleased with our determined efforts to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Many of you have asked about your contributions while we are not meeting. We suggest you mail these to the building until we begin to have services again. The address is Stallings Drive Church of Christ, PO Box 630035, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965

We believe that certain precautions can be taken (and will be taken) to assure that we can safely assemble. Such precautions will include the following: spacing ourselves out at reasonable distance (we are urging you to leave every other pew empty); making individual Lord’s supper emblems available (the unleavened bread will be served in individual bags, and ask that you place the fruit of the vine cups in the bag for disposal); asking all members who have any flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, aches, or fatigue to stay at home; extra cleaning and sanitizing of the building between services. We are also asking those of you who are predisposed to Coronavirus due to age, medications, or illnesses that suppress the immune system, to either stay at home or consider additional precautionary measures.
Some of you, regardless of age or health, may opt to have worship in your homes. We understand this, and the elders fully support your decision. Future decisions to meet as a congregation on the Lord’s Day will be made on a weekly basis. If you have questions or concerns about this or any other matter, please feel free to contact the elders. We look forward to, and pray for, the time when we will be able to worship together without undue external concerns. We also continue to pray that we may all get through this distress untouched by Coronavirus.
-The Elders

If you are searching for a group of people who are striving to serve God and who are devoted to learning more about His will for us, you are in the right place.  If we can study with you or help you grow closer to God, please let us know.  Our aim, as pilgrims on this Earth, is to live in such a manner, through the grace of God, so as to one day live with our Father in Heaven.  We invite you to join us for a period of bible study and worship every Lord’s Day morning.
